Event Details

EIFF is  thrilled to present this once-in-a-lifetime, soul-shifting, event in Edmonton!  And grateful.

Hot off a major U.S. speaking tour, Australian dynamo, Toni Powell, is bringing her life changing Gratitude Life Class to just one Canadian city -- Edmonton! Her first film (a short titled 'Looking Good') premiered at the 2006 Edmonton International Film Festival.  As an ALUMNI of EIFF, and on-going supporter, Toni is making this one-stop in Canada purely to do a fundraiser event for the Edmonton International Film Festival!  How awesome is that?

Almost as awesome as the Life Class...  through a mix of stories, film and some very surprising science about how the mind works, this personal, engaging and resource filled class will create awareness and revelation about the practice of intentional gratitude.  Highly personal, entertaining and inspiring -- this class will make you laugh, move you to tears and help you see the world with bigger heart.

Artist, filmmaker, storyteller, mother, friend... Toni Powell is all these and has also spent the best part of the last two years researching the astonishing power of gratitude for her documentary film GOODNESS GRACIOUS ME!

"It was brilliant, refreshing, humorous, lovely... I loved it!"  Sarah Turner (Sunshine Coast)

"The workshop is profound and professsional, inspiring, life changing and empowering.  I'm excited to implement the ideas Toni inspired."  Diane Priestly, Journalist (London)

"Funny.  Real.  And stirring.  I am challenged by the simplicity of gratitude and its profound implications for pervading all areas of life.  I feel like I have been given a big, fat serving of hope."  Esther Bently, Midwife (Australia)
